This is the form I like to use on sissy squats. Notice all the things going on here. Joe is leaning back when standing tall and engaging hip flexors. He then sinks in deep. I like to use this exercise as part of a supserset, like after the leg press for example.
Having trained for 3 decades now, my lower back is pretty fragile. This bar allows to do what I love (squat) with no back pain at all. It’s remarkable. It absolutely destroys your quads.

Start with rope crunches, note the stretch I am getting. Move on to lat pulldown crunches. When you are in the stretch position suck in your lower abs as hard as you can, and then blow all air out and flex abs to lower weight.
