Post-Training Pancakes

Post workout we want to go a little easier on the fat, to get faster glucose uptake into the bloodstream. We won’t use whole eggs this time, and we’ll use sweeter fruit.

In a large blender put:
1 cup of oatmeal
10 egg whites
1 scoop of protein powder – I like strawberry, banana, or chocolate

Heat up a skillet or griddle.

Blend the ingredients and then pour them into skillet.

Add a sweet fruit or chocolate chips! Add once you pour the batter into the skillet.

I then give the finished product a nice thick coating of real jelly or fruit preserves (I usually use Trader Joe’s preserves).
