Overtraining & Injury Prone – The John Meadows Story Part 4

I was hitting the gym hard and my body was starting to feel the effects. I was on the verge of overtraining and i was getting very small injuries. I knew i had to lighten up my training but that was hard for me because i was so close to my dream of getting that IFBB Pro card.

Elevated resting heart rate, a persistently high heart rate after adequate rest such as in the morning after sleep, this can be an indicator of overtraining. Reduced heart rate variability. Increased susceptibility to infections. Increased incidence of injuries. Irritability.
